Our Program

Nancy’s Hearts & Minds Childcare was established in 1991 by Nancy Felix to provide quality childcare for families on the westside of Los Angeles. 

Since then, we have grown from a small family-oriented, 6 child maximum capacity childcare to a 12 child maximum capacity care and learning space. We provide a nurturing, learning environment for children 15 months to 3 years old. 

We see that all their basic needs are met as well as providing them with their own unique personal care, based on their age, development, personality and temperament.

We believe that children learn through play, interaction with their environment, and positive guidance and attention.

Program Fees

Full & part time available.
Cost: $80/day

For children 2-2.5, half day available.
Half Day 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
$60.00/morning (min.2 mornings/week)

About Nancy

Nancy Felix graduated with an AA degree from Butte Junior College, Durham, CA. She majored in English with an additional course of study in Forestry Science and later studied Early Childhood Education at UCLA Child Development Extension Program. Currently, she is enrolled at Santa Monica College Extension Program in a Creative Writing Program for Young Children.

Nancy has an ongoing interest to study in the behavior, growth and development of young children.
